  • Profile and dive-related data — date of birth, address, height, weight, shoe size, emergency contacts, and information you provide when registering or booking courses and trips.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by California law and described in this policy.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run our business and as described here:

  • Payment processing — Stripe, Inc. processes payments on our behalf.
  • Print-on-demand fulfillment — Gelato and related partners when you purchase merchandise that ships to you.
  • Cloud storage and media — providers such as Cloudinary for document and image hosting used in forms and product images.
  • Email and infrastructure — services that host our application, send transactional email, and support website operation.
  • Professional advisors — lawyers, accountants, or insurers when reasonably necessary.

7. Children's privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental consent. Minors participating in dive training may need a parent or guardian to complete forms and provide consent as required by training standards and law. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal and training-record obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type (for example, booking records and signed dive forms may be kept longer for safety and compliance).
