Tony Fraser
Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)
Tony Fraser's journey from the cold, surgy waters of Southern California to the depths of the ocean is a testament to his adaptability and passion. A certified PADI instructor with a calm, safety-first mindset, Tony's approach is deeply influenced by his time in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Recon team.
Beyond his military background, Tony is a seasoned swing dancer, specializing in Collegiate Shag, Aerials, and Partner Charleston. Since the late '90s, he has been dancing and teaching performance swing dancing, bringing precision, rhythm, and a sense of community to every class.
Whether guiding divers through Catalina's kelp forests or mentoring new students, Tony combines focus, patience, and expertise to make every dive safe and enjoyable. His diverse experiences enrich his teaching, allowing him to connect with students from all walks of life.
At Scuba Life, Tony doesn't just lead dives — he fosters a community where safety, skill, and shared experiences come together to create unforgettable underwater adventures.
